Here's my lame and UNFINISHED photo shoot, because before I could finish the sun has set and I am too tired after all the unpacking/assembly to make a proper photo shoot kit... so these will suffice for now xD;;
First we have the group shot of all my figures that arrived after I went to University! One figure is missing because at that time we haven't picked it up from the post office yet, and that one is the super rare special Konge Donbo x T's system's Tama-tan Pink ver!

Please excuse the distracting figures in the background... and the distracting kitchen background...

First we have... Hiiragi Kagami from [Lucky Star] cosplaying Rin from [Fate/Stay Night] by Good Smile Company! She is just SO ADORABLE.
She comes with a sword, a pointing arm, a sword-holding arm and a hand-on-hips arm. Her alternate face is dotted eyes with a rectangular mouth, which can be seen in the photo of all the figures on my shelf later on. Her stand is more like a seat, holding her up between her skirt and her... derriere. Her twintails move up/down, but not so much back/forth.
Speaking of Nendoroids, they are actually bigger than I thought they would be! You really don't realize how BIG their head is until you hold them in your hands... makes you wanna balance them on their head but not really since you don't wanna crush their ahoge vv

Next is Izumi Konata cosplaying Saber from the same series! I had some problems with Kona-chan, since her head was much more out of balance than Kagamin. Instead of being a seat type of stand like Kagamin's, Kona-chan has the traditional claw that holds her up around the waist due to her dress. This created two problems:
One plus is the amazingly clean and precise detail in her armor. Details are quite impressive in both nendoroids! YAY FOR NO FAKES!

Next we have Kamikita Komari from [Little Busters!] by Kotobukiya. She has two changeable faces, with her default one being normal eyes looking up with closed mouth and the alternate in the image. She also comes with two lollipops, one in wrapper in image and the other without. Unpacking her was kinda difficult because for some reason I couldn't figure out how if she was cast off or not, so I didn't know how to take off the plastic between her skirt and her body. After not wanting to break those fragile ribbons, I just went with the old 'pull until the plastic come off' method, and eventually got the plastic wrapping off. Switching her face also required some working, as me being a not-engineer, I gave up easily. As for my mom being a engineer, she figured out quickly that her neck insert was curved, not straight, so removing her head required a curved movement. orz;; last difficulty was the lollipop. I read in several places that said that they couldn't get her to hold the lollipop like the box image, and I couldn't either. My mom, being the engineer genius that she is, figured it probably is meant to be loose and got it right in like 2 seconds! So now we all know... an engineer is a figure hobbyist's best friend!
Onto her sculpt, it is almost identical to the original, which is quite amazing for Kotobukiya. I highly recommend it, as she is an adorable sitting figure that doesn't take up much space! I display her without the base as she can sit flat, so I saved even more space!

Next is Taiga Aisaka from [Toradora!] by Max Factory. I first decided to get the WAVE version because it has interchangeable faces and a set of tiger ears/tail, but detail wise, I was still unable to resist a Max Factory figure orz;; She's slightly bigger than the WAVE version, but just as cute. There are some posture and detail differences between the two, as you can see from the shelf picture. The base she came with had some indents that shows you where to place her, since her bottom was not flat like other sitting figures, but she doesn't fit perfectly into those molds (you can see it right under her left knee in the above photo). She balances more on her skirt and foot, probably due to her hair. As with my other Taiga figure, her tiger keeps falling off with my sleeves touch it by accident orz; and then it takes me a while to place it back since I'm shaky like that. Don't you guys get nervous when changing parts/handling your figures? Like arms, hands, faces and whatnot... I'm always so nervous since I'm scared I'll break something if I'm too forceful @_@ I wanted to display her without her base (no spaaaace) but she kinda leans backwards, so I had to leave it =_= other than that, it's another great figure from MF!

Next is Melissa Seraphy from [Wagamama Capriccio] by Good Smile Company! She was an amazingly lucky find at her original price! She's in perfect condition, of course~ I love her custom base, but not sure if the color is what I would have chosen... Her pumpkin skirt is as perfect as can be, really superb sculpting! Removing her skirt reveals the most detailed and girly pantsu I have in my collection!~ vvvv I haven't taken a photo of it yet, but I'm sure you can find one easily on the net. Sadly, she can't stand without the pumpkin, which has an attachment that allows her to balance on the base. I can say she's the easiest cast off I have (I STILL can't take Haruhi's skirt off!! Someone gimme tips!!). The black parts of her outfit and the 'skirt' parts of her pumpkin are all glossy, but not in a tacky way, giving her a elegant yet sexy feel. She has a severe case of DFC , elven ears and fang, which push too many of my moe buttons~~ more Ayu moe buttons include blond/wavy/long hair, loli, funky fashion, and bat wings.

Instead of being a seat type of stand like Kagamin's, Kona-chan has the traditional claw that holds her up around the waist due to her dress. This created two problems:
- It was hard to get her into her support because for some reason her lower body was longer than the support, thus she'd 'pop out' of her support if not careful. (her feet are balanced on her heel).
- Because of the support around her waist, her arms needed to be raised, which makes her look stupid.
One plus is the amazingly clean and precise detail in her armor. Details are quite impressive in both nendoroids! YAY FOR NO FAKES!
